You may submit more than one nomination, but it must be submitted separately.

CELI emPOWER19 Award Categories
The emPOWERed Change-Maker Award
The emPOWERed Change-Maker ignites change by thinking creatively about approaches to clean energy challenges. This change-maker displays exceptional leadership skills and is breaking the mold of clean energy norms, especially in tackling diversity and inclusion issues. They stimulate the clean energy community through their innovative ideas, desire to see change, and bold vision for the future.
The JEDI Champion Award
Through their dedication to expanding Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) in the clean energy economy, the JEDI Champion inspires other clean energy leaders to make a lasting difference. They have a contagious passion for a better future and want to empower as many community members as possible to build a clean energy future we can all be proud of.
The Cleantech Innovator Award
Celebrates an individual or organization who is leading or developing a product, process, or innovation that represents a notable technological advancement towards a the clean energy economy. The nominee works on projects that require deep technical knowledge and demonstrates a commitment to creating an equitable, resilient, decarbonized future.
The First Responder Award
In a time of unprecedented change, our communities need First Responders who can provide aid to the front lines when the unexpected strikes. The First Responder Award goes to someone who has and continues to jump into action to provide support to communities impacted by our changing world. They are fearlessly dedicated to leading the way, regardless of the challenges they face.
Distinguished CELI Alumnus Award
This CELI Fellow leads by example in their professional and personal life. The Fellow is an outstanding contributor to the CELI community and embodies the qualities of leadership, commitment, and for learning. This CELI Fellow lifts their peers up and can always be counted on as a supportive figure within the community.
